One of the oldest bandshells in Kansas.
Address: 130 N Denison St. Francis, KS

The Bandshell and amphitheater named the “Rose Bowl”, seats several hundred people. It was built in 1934 with WPA workers who used local materials salvaged from the old jail building.

Howard T. Sawhill designed and planned the bandshell and park that was later named after him. The Bandshell has been placed on both the Kansas and Federal Historical Registries.
